School Makeup Look

Hey Guys!

This is my second and last instalment to my back to school blog posts! :( In todays post I have mentioned the things I use to do my makeup for school and what I would do. Not everyday of the school year do I put makeup on and to this extent. You too also don't have to put all this makeup on as well. I also would like to mention that my school also has rules for no makeup so this is some what of a 'no makeup', makeup tutorial. So, with that said, lets get started!

My first step is to apply a morning moisturisers with SPF in it. This just helps if you are on the go because it is all in one step. Next, I use concealer anywhere I think is needed, usually around my nose and any redness or imperfections. I don't usually apply it under my eyes because it starts to look like you have applied makeup and that's not really what I want at a school with no makeup rules. To then set everything I use a powder that is slightly translucent so it does not look to heavy and cakey. Next time to tame those brows! I like to use a clear gel to shape them and then I go in and do my lashes with that as well to look more awake. Lastly, I use a tinted lip balm to add some colour and moisturiser my lips!

That's it, my school makeup look! Like I said in the beginning this is not what I do everyday and I don't expect you to do that as well. I really encourage people to be positive about there skin and not always be covering it up. Be sure to check out my twitter account, blog_beautybits and also follow this blog so you can keep up to date! Today is also social Sunday so as soon as you finish reading this go chat to me on twitter! In the comment tell me what your favourite breakfast dish is! Mine would have to be toast on weekdays and bacon on weekends! Thanks guys for all the positive feedback,

Bye!

P.S. I did not put in images because I thought that you could use what you preferred but if you are really stuck you should defiantly check out my makeup essentials blog post here!

Back To School Essentials

Hey Guys!

It is back to school time for some people (including me) In Australia, we go back on Tuesday the 27th, so before then I want everyone to be prepared by making a school survival kit. If you want to be that friend with everything you needs in your bag for whenever and whatever, these are the things you will need:

- Hair ties,
- Bobby pins,
- Perfume / Body spray / Deodorant,
- Hand sanitizer,
- Band aids,
- Oil blotting sheets,
- Lip balm,
- Powder for touch ups,
- Mirror,
- Concealer,
- Hand cream,
- Nail File,
- Gum,
- And lastly, a small  bag to keep it all in.

Now, of course everything in this is optional and customisable, these are just a few things that other people and I have recommended to keep in there bag. Leave in the comments below what you keep in your back to school survival kit! Also, tomorrow I will have another school related blog post up so stay tuned for that! :)

Thanks, Bye!

P.S - Not everything in the second image is in the list!

Makeup Wish list!

Hey Guys!

I know this may be a bit of a unexpected post for you guys because its a Wednesday and I usually post on a Saturday, but as this is my last week of holidays I decided I would post two blog post this week! If you guys want to be notified when I do post surprise blog posts then I would really appreciate if you took a moment to follow my blog. I also take the time in my day to tweet through my twitter account which you can get to here. If you follow me I will follow back!

Todays post is just a little something that I decided would be fun for me to write about everything that is on my makeup wish list! Now like I mentioned in my last blog (which you really should read if you are getting into makeup), makeup in Australia is waayy overpriced! Now for someone like me who does not have a full time job to earn money all the time it is hard to go shopping and buy makeup, so I usually have to save for the things I want, or ask for these things for Christmas and my birthday, which is only once a year. So, to make sure what I put on my wish list is worth buying, I decided to put together a list of products that I have had my eye on and you guys can let me know in the comments if it is worth it! Lets get started!!

My top thing on my list is a Naked Palate! Where I live they don't have a place we you can buy Urban Decay so you have to go online, which means postage, and that means more money! So I would really like to know which one do you think is the best or what one you would buy if you don't have one like me. My next product is something from Benefit and that's the Gimme Brow. I have heard so many people talk about this and I was wondering is it really worth it for the money? Is it the right price for this product? I don't know but I know one of you guys will :) Three things from Maybelline that I have been eyeing out is the Fit Me foundation & concealer and the under eye concealer. I really have been wanting to try these out for a while and now even more because I am starting to need a new concealer. My last thing is something everyone but me has, a EOS lip balm! Now again, where I live does not sell any and that means online purchase so, do any of you know any good, legit websites that sell them, if so please let me know in the comments below.

So that is just some of my makeup wish list items. I would also like to know what's of your wish list and I will read the comments and reply back to all of them. I have just started getting some comments so I really hope you continue because they make my day :)

Thanks, Bye!

P.S. Look out for 2 blog post this weekend!
